Urgent Help Needed: Support this sister's Cancer Treatment

We are raising funds for Sister Arsh, a 65-year-old mother who is suffering from Stage 3 breast cancer. Her husband passed away long ago, and he was the sole breadwinner of their family. Since then, she has somehow been managing the expenses of her home through Qur’an teaching and primary private tuition.

But after her diagnosis of Stage 3 breast cancer, the family of two has been completely devastated, both mentally and financially. They simply cannot arrange the large amount required for her treatment on their own.

After her diagnosis, Arsh also approached a government hospital, including AIIMS, in the hope of receiving affordable treatment. However, she was given a waiting period of around three months for her PET scan and other necessary formalities. She was informed that the complete process could take several more months before her treatment could actually begin.

With cancer being a life-threatening disease and the fear of delaying essential treatment for several months, the family felt they could not afford to wait. Therefore, despite their extremely difficult financial situation, they decided to proceed with treatment at a private hospital so that her treatment could begin without further delay.

The doctor has advised her to undergo 12 sessions of chemotherapy, which are being administered as 12 weekly cycles, one cycle every week. This is due to her age and weakness...With the help of the fundraisers we created previously and the generous support of well-wishers, 6 chemotherapy cycles have already been completed. For her operation, AIIMS doctors asked her to approach them again post-chemo. 

However, 6 cycles are still pending, and we urgently need funds to continue her treatment. Each chemotherapy cycle costs approximately ₹19,000, which means we need around ₹1,14,000 for the remaining six cycles alone. 

We are now initiating this fundraiser to help cover the remaining 6 cycles of chemotherapy, along with her necessary medicines.
